At DHI we recognise that the correct diagnosis is the basis for successful and permanent treatment. That is why we have developed a very sophisticated diagnostic system for hair loss, the UDSA.

DHI research shows that 67.3% (about 2 our of 3) of men and women suffering from hair loss opted for treatment without a proper prior medical diagosis.

Hair loss may appear with different patterns and have several different causes. Almost no two person have the exact identical cause, pattern and distribution of hair loss and therefore there is no one treatment suited for all. In order to help clear the confusion and shed more clarity over hair loss issues, DHI Medical Group invented the Unique Diagnostic System for Alopecia (UDSA) to assist both men and women to perform a complete diagnosis of their hair loss.

What Is UDSA?

UDSA was developed by a team of world renowned experts to provide accurate and personalised diagnosis for all types of alopecia – hair and scalp disorders.

UDSA examines each specific case individually, including psyhoological aspects, dermatological examination, mathematical aspects and the DHI alopecia test, before determining the appropriate treatment plans.

A team of DHI experts that include administrative consultant, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, psychologists and endocrinologists were involved in the diagnostic process, according to each patient’s needs. A scientific board compiled of internationally renowned medical experts supervises and approves every treatment plan.
