Use the prefilled pen to inject under the skin of the tummy, thigh, or upper arm once a week on the same day, exactly as your doctor shows you. Do not share pens and always rotate injection sites.
Most adults start at 2.5 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then usually move to 5 mg once weekly, with step-ups by 2.5 mg at least every 4 weeks as advised, up to a maximum of 15 mg once weekly. Your exact plan is set by your prescriber.
