Hi all! Recently I having some skin problem, it’s quite serious for me. I’m here to tell you a little story of my skin.

Previously when I was in secondary school, I have mild acne skin. After I studied collage I was thinking to cure the acne. I know it’s not so serious but I can’t leave the acne on my face!! (I know I’m typical OCD haha!) Then my friend have try a home care peeling skincare to cure her acne skin, so I contacted the agent. After few month, I started using the peeling skincare. After 2years using the peeling skincare, I stopped using it slowly. Because I don’t want to do the peel continuously.. It’s tough for me! And then I found Nexus Clinic

I started the treatment on 16th January. Let me tell you what I did at Nexus Clinic and how they help me cure my acne skin!

I was talking to Dr Jasmine about my acne problem and my skincare routine. She said, must be the things you put on your skin brings you trouble and sleep late it’s also will cause you acne! (YES! I Agreed!) Dr Jasmine advice me to do the TCA Peel (Tri-Chloroacetic Acid) & LED Phototherapy! I will explain to you some detail about the treatment.

TCA Peel (Tri-Chloroacetic Acid)

TCA Peel is one of the original skin rejuvenation peels. They are recommended for men and women of all ages wanting to improve moderate to severe sun damage and or signs of ageing. Superficial TCA Peels are designed as mild to moderate peels. Their strength and therefore peeling effects can be increased, by layering the applications.

NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO:

• Roaccutane used in the last 6 months
• Dermatitis or infection in the area to be treated
• Pregnancy
• Abnormal wound healing

Expected changes over the next 7 to 14 days include:

Day 1 to 3 – Tight, dry skin with moderate redness and sensitivity
Day 2 to 5 – Areas of darkened skin (this is the old skin in preparation to peel)
Day 3 to 7 – Peeling or slight flaking lasting 2 to 5 days

After the conversation, she bring me to the room and prepare for the treatment!

First, they did some cleansing to remove any impurities and breakouts! (Honestly, I’m quite enjoy the pain-ness on this process! haha!)

Here’s are my BEFORE picture! Still can see a lot of breakouts and small white head on my face.

Next, Dr Jasmine apply the TCA Peel on my face.
(Very honest to tell you, it’s quite tingling, warm and pricking on the skin. But it’s very normal, no harm k!)

After that Dr Jasmine using the cooling pack to cool down my skin! It’s so helpful! No more pricking!! XD

LED Phototherapy 

Light therapy is one of the most powerful anti-aging tools in the arsenal against the ravages of time. This powerful technology has been mostly used by physicians, NASA and the NAVY SEALS for muscle regeneration and the healing of wounds.

That’s all for the LED Phototherapy! I had done my treatment today! yeay! Need to wait for 5-7 days for the skin peel.. hmm..

After a week, my pores was reduce, but you still can feel the small white head, acne and scars on my face. But it’s actually improve a lot after the above treatment!

I will share you all their own skincare products on next post, my favourite skincare in the whole series is the Vital C! I tell you! This product is amazing!! It’s like a serum or essences! After I apply it, my skin stopped peel about 50%! Serious!
