liposculpture

What is liposculpture?

Liposculpture is a procedure not too different when compared to the more well known liposculpting. In liposculpting, as the name suggests, is a more advanced technique of liposuction that shifts the aim from purely removing masses of fat to focusing on the more complicated and aesthetically driven process of getting rid of and manipulating fat. The procedure has your ideal body in mind and requires the surgeon to have an appreciation of proportion and how the body fat and skin align to produce a pleasing look.

What is the difference between liposculpture and liposuction

Liposculpture places the emphasis on proportioning the body to make the figure aesthetically pleasing when compared to liposuction where the aim is to remove masses of fat from areas such as the abdomen to make the body smaller. The surgeon will take into account your body structure and proportions when removing fat to achieve the ideal figure with regards to size, shapes and symmetry. Liposculpture is not concerned with removing massive volumes of fat.

In fact, liposculpture does not remove fat for the sake of removing it. It aims to manipulate and shift the placement of the fat tissue to achieve the desired effect. Sometimes, removing too much fat creates unpleasant and abnormal looking grooves and contours. The surgeon will spend plenty of time assessing your figure and pre-planning the procedure so that he can have a clear vision of what he will do.
